Tandoori Ingredients
200 g tempeh block (soya/chickpea/yellow split pea tempeh)
1 small onion
1 small tomato
1 tbsp ginger
1 tbsp garlic
1 handful mint leaves
¼ tsp tandoori masala
¼ tsp chat masala
1 tsp chilli powder
1 pinch turmeric
1 ½ tbsp yogurt
Salt to taste
Steam/boil the tempeh for 5 minutes and cut into chunks. In a pan put a little oil and add the garlic, ginger, tomato and onion till they are cooked. Add all the spices and roast for 2 minutes. Turn off the heat and let it cool. Add the yogurt to the mix.
Marinate the tempeh and set it aside for 1 hr.
Bake in the oven for a nice char grilled taste.
